 Main activities and certifications
 At NAVIS, our philosophy is to provide our customers with an individual, all-round and highly personal service. Each customer is serviced by the same sales and marketing consultant on a ongoing basis, familiar with most of the situations, concerns and problems their clients might encounter. They take personal responsibility for coordinating all aspects of customer needs, as well as those in foreign markets. Staff members with expertise in such specialist areas as dangerous goods are also on hand. Our comprehensive service means that our customers feel secure and kept in the picture.
Environment Management We would like to avoid respectively reduce to a minimum the pollution of our environment in order to safeguard the natural resources and oblige ourselves to respect the environmental regulations in force. In establishing our environmental management system we are guided by EN ISO 14001. However, a certification in accordance with this norm is actually not planned, since NAVIS has among other things no own truck fleet.
Regulated Agent (Air Freight) In 2006 NAVIS made as an certified IATA-cargo agent, in accordance with the air freight safety law, an application by the Luftfahrtbundesamt (LBA) for the permission as „regulated agent“. The branches in Hamburg und Frankfurt am Main were successfully audited by the LBA and received permissions up to 13.02.2012 (Hamburg) and 26.02.2011 (Frankfurt am Main) under the certification number DE.RAC.0563. Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) The NAVIS AG, Hamburg, was certified by the Hauptzollamt Hamburg-Stadt with effect to 12 June 2009 as "authorized economic operator" (AEO F) and has validity for all branches of NAVIS AG.
Effective to 3 August 2010 the following Joint-Ventures were also AEO F certified:
The branch office NAVIS GmbH, Bremen, got their AEO F certification with effect to the 29 April 2011.
The branch office NAVIS GmbH, Hanover, got their AEO F certification with effect to the 13 May 2011.
