Sea Transport Alliance

The Sea Transport Alliance was founded by NAVIS in August 1998, with the on-going aim to optimize services and performance in overseas transportation by close cooperation with partners from Germany, Europe and overseas.

The Sea Transport Alliance:

  • An alliance of family-managed transport companies that have maintained their independence
  • Concentrates on sea transportation, transportation consulting and import and export management
  • Self-organized inland transportation for pre-carriage and on-carriage
  • LCL services in over 80 port and inland locations as well as FCL services worldwide
  • Shipping via the ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Barcelona and Antwerp

The Sea Transport Alliance range of services cover:

  • individual pick-up and prompt on-carriage from and to the sea port
  • door-to-door transport
  • container services
  • container groupage services
  • customs clearance and bonded warehousing
  • issuance of documents in compliance with letter of credit requirements
  • supervision of project shipments, consolidation and shipping
