After decades of close alliance RONAVIS formally leaves our NAVIS Group and continues its successful business in Rotterdam in friendship and cooperation with us

2018

Renaming of the branches in Bremen and Hanover.

The new names are NAVIS Bremen GmbH and NAVIS Hannover GmbH

Mr. Walter Stork resigns as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Mr. Kay A. Espey takes over as Chairman

2015

The logo of NAVIS is redesigned.

Walter Stork Receives LEO 2015 – for “Logistic Life Performance”

2012

NAVIS Hamburg Logistik GmbH and NAVIS Hannover Logistik GmbH are founded.

2011

Dr. Volker Steinmeyer becomes a member of the Board of Management.

The NAVIS branch offices of Bremen and Hanover are certified as Authorized Economic Operators (AEO-F).

2010

Change in Management: Mr. Remo Stork assumes the role of Chairman of the Board of Management, Mr. Walter Stork becomes the Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

The Sea Transport Alliance Members are certified as Authorized Economic Operators (AEO-F).

2009

NAVIS AG, Hamburg is certified as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO-F).

2008

The branch office of NAVIS in Frankfurt am Main is opened.

2007

CRETSCHMAR – NAVIS Española, S.L., Barcelona joins the Sea Transport Alliance® from the start.

Lebert – NAVIS Übersee-Spedition, Hamburg joins the Sea Transport Alliance® from the start.

2006

NAVIS is officially registered as IATA Cargo Agent.

2003

Founding member of the Global Container Group.

Founding of the first non-European branch office of NAVIS in Mexico.

2002

NAVIS – ZUFALL Seehafen-Spedition GmbH, Hamburg is founded for ocean freight import business development. Partner: Friedrich Zufall GmbH & Co. KG Internationale Spedition located in Göttingen. Disbanded in 2014.

Certification of the NAVIS Group in accordance with the requirements of the VDA 6.2 (the German Automotive Industry Association) by Bureau Veritas.

HONOLD – NAVIS Seehafen-Spedition GmbH, Hamburg joins the Sea Transport Alliance®. Disbanded in 2006.

2001

Increase of the capital of NAVIS AG to EUR 1.4 Million.

2000

CRETSCHMAR – NAVIS Seehafen-Spedition, Hamburg joins the Sea Transport Alliance® from the start.

Expansion of Hamburg headquarters: a fourth floor is built in order to accommodate the growing number of employees.

The branch office of NAVIS Antwerp is opened.

BISCHOFF – NAVIS Seehafen-Spedition, Hamburg joins the Sea Transport Alliance®. Disbanded in 2006.

The Sea Transport Alliance® is founded by NAVIS AG.

DIEHL – NAVIS Seehafen-Spedition, Hamburg joins the Sea Transport Alliance®. Disbanded in 2017.

Certification of the NAVIS Group in accordance with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9000 by Bureau Veritas.

1995

The company’s slogan “the cargo company” and logo are created and patented.

NAVIS Schiffahrts- und Speditionsgesellschaft mbH, Hamburg changes its business form into a stock Company.

1993

Implementation of a Quality Management System in compliance with DIN EN ISO 9001.

LOCTON-NAVIS Internationale Logistik-Kooperation, Hamburg joins the Sea Transport Alliance® from the start. Disbanded in 2004.

The branch office of NAVIS Freiberg (Saxony) is opened.

NAVIS Consulting & Computer Services GmbH is founded.

The branch office of RONAVIS Rotterdam is opened.

Remo Stork becomes an employee of NAVIS.

NAVIS Bremen changes its business form into an LLC.

The Stork family acquires all company Shares.

NAVIS Hanover opened as a branch Office.

Founding of the NAVIS-ZUFALL Übersee-Speditionszentrale for ocean freight export business development. Disbanded in 2014.

Walter Stork becomes a shareholder of NAVIS and is appointed sole Managing Director of the Company.

1958

Walter Stork joins NAVIS as an employee.

1956

Founding of NAVIS in Hamburg. The founder was a Belgian forwarding and shipping company represented by Eduard L. M. Joos in Antwerp.
